I carved out this design onto a medium 10-14 pound watermelon to announce the arrival of my nephew. I think adding a carved watermelon to any food table makes a welcoming statement for all.

THis watermelon was carved with the word "Welcome" . It was placed at the entrance of the reception hall as a centerpiece for the appetizer table.

A wedding appetizer table made entirely of fruits for a wedding.

My friend wanted me to make her a wedding centerpiece for her work place for a newly wed couple . I tried carving a love bug car with the word " Just Married" carved into the watermelon. Then I balled out all the watermelon. THis became the edible centerpiece for thier event.

I found these candied pearls on sale at the craft store. They look so pretty and would have looked great on some baked cookies or cake. I thought it would be perfect if i can use this on my diamond pattern carved into my watermelon.

I made this snow flake print on a paper patterm. Then I stencil it into a small personal size watermelon. Finally I carved the pattern first into the middle of the watermelon. The rest of the design I free hand whatever came into my imagination.

I carved this into a watermelon as a Centerpiece for a Baby shower.
